How effects operate
The server selects an eligible effect and notifies connected clients. Clients run their corresponding effect handlers, while the HUD shows the event countdown or active effect details. The server periodically sends state updates to keep the display synchronized.
Effects marked as instant generally cannot be undone by stopping the timer. Some timed effects also have consequences that outlive the effect window; see the full catalog and server compatibility notes before enabling unrestricted chaos.
